The world’s leading trade fair for technical and innovative textiles, TechTextil, will be held in Frankfurt from 23 to 26 April.

The technical and innovative textiles sector continues to grow rapidly. Last year the world trade of this productive category reached 44,7 billion euros with an average annual growth between 2009 and 2023 of 4,4%. The EU accounts for 35% of world trade in the sector and, Germany and Italy, are among the leading exporters of technical textiles.
The growth of the sector, both in terms of production and consumption, has implied a significant increase in the demand for ad hoc machinery for this particular sector.
